The good in Jimmy largely ceased to be when he went full Saul Goodman. Like, all of Breaking Bad leading into the black and white scenes. 

It was always gross that people made Walter White a hero. You can be thrilled by stuff he does and find him engaging and also not want him to create more death and misery for everyone around him. 

You can be excited by Gus or Lydia’s deaths and still not root for the dude that poisoned a child to get what he wants
