I hope this only applies to team based game types and not free for all games. Quitting in FFA doesn't hurt anybody else. I usually don't quit in the middle of a match, but I'll jump out before a match starts if it's a game type that I dislike.

I don't get why the Wii is so left-handed unfriendly. The Wiimote looks like it could be held in either hand.

Wouldn't a game without sprites or polygons be a text adventure?

Loved the VB. Got it on clearance and a few games when it was being discontinued. Never had any issues with vision or headaches while playing it. I remember Red Alarm being fantastic for it's time and loved how immersive it felt. I'm really considering picking one up again.

@Daniel Thomas MacInnes: The Wii is pretty much only for Nintendo games at this point. You'll have to buy either a 360 or PS3 for good 3rd party games.

The surfing mode is so fun. It's the type of game that you can just chill out to.

I'm still trying to figure out where the IR sensor is on the new consoles. Did they remove that? That would be a shame if they did. @Demonbird: If you're going to throw all that in then why don't you throw in:

I like how they make a point of how different their company and products are from the rest of the market, but when they have a problem, they're no different from any other product.

Sounds interesting. I already have SFIV, so I probably won't buy any more games based on that engine. I don't have any current gen Tekken games, so I may pick up that version if it turns out ok.

Never been to a beach arcade, but my fondest memory of the arcades was the mid 80's. I was in elementary school and this was before I had an NES or any home console. There was an arcade at a local movie theater a few blocks away from where I lived. It had so many good classics. Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros., Contra,
