Not like you’ll shell out the money even if it were manual, because we all know all the whiners on here like you are cheap ass people who’ll find other excuses just and end up buying one for 10k years down the road and STILL make fun of people who bought one new.

Wow, I actually think this could be perfect on paper. I’ve convinced the wife that a wagon is the way to go for her next car, and this one has enough power for me to not hate driving it. She doesn’t like leather, and all of those electronic add-ons aren’t necessary for either of us. It’s like a manufacturer actually

If you spend enough time on here, every CUV/SUV thread is littered with “if only this were a wagon instead!” And every wagon post is littered with “But if only it had ____ I’d buy it!” It gets old. These people will also complain about Ferrari dropping manual transmissions, even though none of those complainers would

Jalops should hope and pray that this is popular enough for dealers to mark up 25%. That would mean you would soon have more wagons from other OEM’s because a wagon is actually selling in the US.

Well, in three and a half years’ time, when the Carmax extended warranty on my X1 runs out and I suddenly find myself entirely disinterested in the continued maintenance costs on a BMW, I know what I’m getting!

Because nothing meets these mythical ridiculous expectations. The term “There’s always an excuse” means there’s something wrong with everything on the market. So that would leave literally nothing for these people to buy, and they certainly didn’t buy any of these vehicles when they did meet expectations and were new

Folks who are able to passively accept it’s passing must not deal with deep snow on steep hills. It’s not about sport driving for me it’s just about being able to control traction myself in a predictable way. I have a 45 degree hill that sometimes has 3-9 inches of snow on it. In a manual you can drive up it and use

I understand why automakers don’t make manual wagons, but I also don’t like it.

Which is a size class smaller than the Regal.

The Alltrak is also a size class smaller than the Regal.

More realistic scenario:

Buick relaunched manual transmissions in their cars in 2011 after a 22-year absence. They offered them with the turbo engine in the Regal and the GS. They offered a manual in the Verano turbo as well.

Really? As a niche segment in the US, I wouldn’t be surprised if most of these end up as lot queens with a pile of cash on the hood.

Meanwhile, you can get paddle shifters on the Lacrosse but not the Regal GS.

THERE IS ALWAYS A FUCKING EXCUSE.

I’m pretty sure you can find a manual in the glove-box.

I mean were you really expecting Buick to offer a manual in a lifted wagon that sells against other wagons that also don’t have manuals?

Can we throw in vinyl seats too? All the same temperature complaints of leather, just (typically) a bit more rugged and easier to clean.

For that price, this may be the next car. My dog is getting older and it will be much better for her to jump in the back of this than a crossover. Plus, the back hatches of crossovers are too raked making the rear cargo area useless for a dog or even boxy cargo. With that being said... There are photos of it without
