My best guess is this 1998 993 RUF Turbo R. Not priced yet but I’ll venture to say it goes for $500K. It is about 2 miles from my house.
Yup. One can buy an equally old, equally fast and better all-around (2010-2013) 997.2 Turbo S for much less money.
That’s racist. How does “I’m wary of trusting black people....” ring in that little mind of yours? Continue on being an easily offended racist....
Seriously?
VW needs to take what people love from their other brands, Porsche especially, and be different by offering buyers the ability to choose individual options.
Yep. They make stupid packages - like not offering Xenon headlights on all trim levels.
Typical for VW, they give us the wrong powerplant. Europe has the proper version with a 300 HP engine.
That was my first thought. Beautiful design hiding a heart of vanilla.
Beautiful, sporty, powered by a hamster wheel....
No Fast. Not Furious.
Ah. Love that feature, my ex-gf has them on her GTI.
300-350 HP is the sweet spot, according to Chris Harris and my own opinion:) Turbo torque is what ruins a lot of the fun as well....it’s available at like 1500 rpm.
Much nicer than a loaded GLA250
What’s tech package
Yep....heck a stage 1 Golf R is on the edge of “too fast for legal fun”...
That’s the great thing about PDK - 6 in one hand, half-dozen in the other. Can’t say the same for the Tiptronic. Agreed....a 987 Cayman or 981 Cayman GTS kind of hit the sweet spot.
Badges? We don’t need no stinkin’ badges with 19 letters!
These new 991.2s are too fast to enjoy on the road. Not to sound like a broken record, but gimme one of these
