This is faster for most people in most situations most of the time in any weather. Plus a CTS-V coupe is heavy and large - not something I’d enjoy for tearing up narrow country roads.

VW now ranks higher than many car brands considered “reliable.” The Mk7 Golf is quite reliable. The Mk5 and early Mk6 era is where these stereotypes mainly stem from.
Agreed. 2-door hatches are where it’s at. They have all the practicality of a sedan but feel “sporty”.
Yep. Stripper BMWs impress people who mostly see cars as status symbols but not enthusiasts. An R will impress enthusiasts and most people will see it as a nice car.
