Yep. Stripper BMWs impress people who mostly see cars as status symbols but not enthusiasts. An R will impress enthusiasts and most people will see it as a nice car.

Sunroof was a reason I decided to skip buying an R. Figured a little patience and similar money will get me a Porsche 997.2 with a sunroof and PDK:-/
