It’s odd to me that no one has responded to this. It’s concrete and occam’s razor evidence that there is another factor contributing to the decline of the middle class.

The US already has one of the highest corporate tax rates in the developed world and has been bleeding manufacturing jobs (typically the seat of Union power) for years. How do we increase wages and increase taxes on the class that pays those wages without pushing more jobs out of the country?
