OT, but speakin of CW and famous vampires: Lance Henriksen has been cast on Legends of Tomorrow.

Why didn’t he want to compare his take on Bond to Warren Ellis’s?

Then they got Limitless, which was basically super intelligence from a pill and decided that wasn’t for them either. If there’s a superhero show CBS would like, I probably wouldn’t.

Why bother? In the last year, there were only 3 shows that I watched on CBS: Limitless, Supergirl, and Mark Harmon’s retirement plan. Two of those shows are no longer on CBS. A superhero show doesn’t really fit their key audience, which seems to have a preference for episodic procedurals, even if they’re derivative of

They had a perfect one with Person of Interest, then the bastards cancelled it.

Dude I can’t believe you went through that entire post without this link

Ha. I went to the “final tour” in 89 and then saw them again like 3 years ago. What a crock of shit.

What the media says we should expect during Rio 2016:

I’d add Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea in which the Van Allen Belt catches fire somehow and causes the temperatures on Earth to increase. You can’t beat a cast that includes Peter Lorre, Walter Pigeon, Joan Fontaine, Barbara Eden and Frankie-Fuckin’-Avalon.

Props to these guys for this movie.

Mayers’ bathroom break strategy caught up to her once she took the job at Yahoo! as she immediately proceeded to shit all over it.

Zorin Industries?

How would we even know? They could say that The Flash has been in every DC movie up until now. “See where Wonder Woman’s hair is ruffled by the breeze? That was The Flash going by. See where Superman’s cape just whipped back? Flash.”

Well, Coulson does have a note from home...

It’s available on Audible as a download and on Amazon on CD.

Something that always registered with me about TOS was the statement “these are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise”. It was a ship with a bit of history, Captains April and Pike, maybe somebody else, had gone places before Kirk and Co, and by inference others could boldly go after they had departed.

Goggles & Corset = Steampunk, I guess. I feel very weary of Steampunk cosplay, but I can be a cynical asshole at times, so.
