Really? How about this?

Huh. Markstein’s involvement as Story Editor of The Prisoner, is controversial, to say the least. And since he left before the final, and most allegorical episodes were filmed, I’d say he was wrong. For better or worse, it was McGoohan’s final product.

Yeah, that was the one. It was silly because it took the show literally, instead of as an allegory.

Somebody did a Prisoner comic. It was a six-issue mini-series. I have in my collection somewhere.

Elysium was pretty incoherent, but I kinda liked Chappie, and William Gibson loved it, so I wonder if we’re not missing something.

I didn’t know that. And yeah, it sounds pretty cool! Too bad there’s not much of their stuff on iTunes (in Canada, anyway).

I just hope they haven’t lost their edge after, what? 15 years?

In the UK they dial 999.

I was at that game, with my sister who is visiting from England, and we spent the game in the restaurant over-looking the outfield. We didn’t have the nerve to leave, but it was an effort to stay and watch.

And then Shirley Mason went on to play a Terminator in “The Sarah Connor Chronicles”. Weird.

“Kiss From a Rose” was a pretty good Batman song, too:

I adore that song. It’s on my all-time top ten list.

“Streets of Fire” (1984) directed by Walter Hill (director of “The Warriors” and “48 Hrs”) and starring half of everyone who was famous in the eighties: Michael Paré, Diane Lane, Rick Moranis(!), Amy Madigan, Willem Dafoe, and Bill Paxton.

This one was going to be really good, but some idiot exec got cold feet at the last minute, and hired Sheryl Crow instead:

I liked the version from the first movie better:

In hindsight, it’s a good thing ADV went bust.

Please let us know when you do. For some reason it makes me think of that viral video a few years ago of the little girl trying to grab the Moon.

Weren’t Jackson and Spielberg supposed to do more Tintin movies? I thought they were planning three. I guess the first one tanked so bad they’ve given up and moved on.

Yeah, can we just skip right over 2017 already?

WHY HAVEN’T YOU POSTED IT!?!
