In the real world, that makes sense. What’s interesting is that the MCU is exploring the extremes of the condition. How does it work when you have super-humans involved? And they seem to present Steve Rogers as being extreme in the moral and ethical sense, too.

But Bucky wasn’t responsible; he was brain-washed. Steve seems to be the only person who realizes that. Everyone else (it seems) wants to hang him out to dry.

Flying Witch is basically “Kiki growed up” and I love it.

And it’s SOOO good! It’s a ridiculously silly concept that they somehow make work, with terrific animation and music. Easily my favourite show this season.

So, a few thoughts:

Except that I thought Cap’s argument was the only one that made sense. “It’s the U.N., not the World Security Council, or SHIELD, or Hydra.” But what is the U.N., but another group of people with an agenda?

It was pretty poorly written, with tons of speechifying replacing plot development, but I have to admit they earned a lot of goodwill from me at the very beginning with the Harrison Ford jokes. (Yes, there were two in one shot.)

That is a seriously awesome program, it’s a shame it never got updated, and ported to newer platforms.

Really. I don’t get Adult Swim since I moved back to Canada, so I saw SAC and 2nd Gig on DVD, and only watched the sub (which is my normal habit). I’ll have to give the dub a try.

Yes, I’ve watched the entire first season. I think it’s a great re-imagining for the 21 century, and it seems kids in the UK are taking to it in droves.

Yeah, I quickly realized it was better for my mental health. Then I read about the red wedding, the rapes, the blindings, the castrations, and knew I’d made the right choice.

“Thunderbirds Are Go” is on Amazon, not Netflix. The promo video has an Amazon logo on it.

You could have just said, “Everything looks miserable in the new Game of Thrones trailer”. I gave up after the second season because it was so damn depressing, and everything I have read since makes it sound ten times worse.

For Canadians, tonight at 10:00 PM on Showcase. (Don’t ask me why Showcase seems to get all the SF shows while Space has crap like “Paranormal Witness”. It’s a mystery to me.)

You should try it. The series is really good. Lots of plot arcs and changing characters.
