Somebody help me out: when did John Beck play the Punisher? I only know him from Rollerball.

Agreed. It’s crap. The writing is silly and lazy, and the character motivations are non-sensical. Will tries far too hard at his job, and the resistance has all the intelligence of an ant colony. I gave up weeks ago.

That’s what’s I’ve been thinking. They just didn’t do a good job of connecting the dots.

There’s a difference?

I just watched Batman Begins on Netflix today, but before that I watched the animated Batman: Year One. Begins lifted so many beats from Year One, (and the animated Year One was made in 2011.) That’s really the story that was the inspiration for Batman Begins, Nolan added in the League of Shadows/Scarecrow conspiracy

Yeah, as much as I admire Idris Elba, he got nuttin on those guys.

But you left out the Apaches polishing off the two baby dragons. :(

Ah, thanks for the clarification.

If memory serves, Terry Nation (creator 0f the Daleks) created and wrote the first half-season of MacGyver, and then left over creative differences.

Last week’s episode was actually rather good; the confrontation between young Bruce Wayne and his parents’ (supposed) killer was great.

Dun care. Alison Scagliotti.

Seriously? How about Showgirls, or for that matter, anything directed by Paul Verhoeven. Flesh + Blood is also an egregious example.

Not until tap water runs out, no.

Yeah, I’ve been thinking the same thing. It’s not quite, “Hey, a guy I knew for fifty years just died, how can I cash in?”, but it does seem a bit disingenuous to write a book about someone when there’s no way he can rebut it.

There’s a Larry Niven story, I think it’s The Borderland of Sol, in which the climax involves explosive decompression. Niven describes the process in exacting detail, and it sounds pretty accurate. His protagonists survive the vacuum of space for about 30 seconds, which is enough time to escape to their spacecraft.

This may explain why I’m still watching Sleepy Hollow, (or kind of watching it while net surfing) while I dropped Shadowhunters like a hot rock half-way through the second episode. And Shadowhunters is only available on Netflix in Canada, which should make it easier to watch.

I knew I forgot something! I love Milky Holmes, they’re cute and hilarious.

That all you got?

He’s been to Canada multiple times. Remember, Jay and Silent Bob had that guest shot on Degrassi years ago. (Degrassi being Smith’s favourite TV show.) I don’t think he has a criminal record.
