I have one place that I know of in the Twin Cities where I can get it, and they is not particularly close to me. If I do not have any, I do not make all'Amatriciana. There are plenty of other dishes out there.

I was talking about I Nonni. Their attached market is Buon Giorno. Not sure if the market at Cosetta’s has guanciale. (And I have not actually been back to I Nonni since they were bought out, so hopefully the food has not gone downhill.)
In theory I prefer an old school parser, but that brings back memories of getting stuck for a week on the Infocom version of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy not on the Babel Fish puzzle, but rather on how to turn on the Infinite Improbability Drive. I cannot remember what ended up working, but nearly every…
There is a market attached to my favorite Italian restaurant in the Twin Cities which cures their own. It is one of the few places that I can get it, and I absolutely NEVER leave there without some.
That was a reply to Jeff’s comment above. He was talking about bucatini all’Amatriciana, which sure as hell better have guanciale.
Please, oh please, after all that effort that you expended, tell me that you only use guanciale!
I have had a Focus, a Focus ST, a Focus RS, and I have driven two different Fusions for work. Have not had any issues -- or any gunk at all -- with any of them. YMMV, of course.
Never had problem with multiple Easy Fuel Fords.
Indeed.
Yeah, I was not near my car when I posted that, so I just grabbed a picture off the internet.
Yep. I have had a Focus, a Focus ST, & a Focus RS, plus two different Fusions for work, and have never seen any gunk.
As a Vikings fan, that one made me laugh painfully.
That stood out at me even more than the FWD silliness. At least with an AWD system, sometimes the car is largely being driven by the front wheels. But as an RS owner, I can vouch for the fact that the only way to fit a full-sized spare into the thing would be to give up all your cargo space. When I traded in my ST…
The most marvelous gas cap of all:
Or Fast and Benghazi!
I do not follow the Cowboys in any meaningful way, so I have certainly never heard of Dale Hansen before, and never would have seen that epic burn if someone had not called it out. Thanks!
I would recommend Oppo PM-3s, which I picked up last year, and could not be happier with. Definite value for the money in terms of price to performance ratio. However, with Oppo Digital ceasing manufacturing, it looks like all their remaining inventory is sold out. Pity.
Well, MI3 was already 12 years ago, so that was why I said in recent memory.
Counterpoint: while yes, Hoffman was indeed very good, Sean Harris in Rogue Nation was one of the best villains in any franchise film in recent memory. He really did cold menace in an understated but powerful way.
Years ago, an RPG like Titan Quest felt fresh just because of its Greco-Roman setting — despite the relatively simplistic ARPG mechanics. Other games had borrowed elements of that mythology, but no major ones had really used the setting.
