I do admittedly have the luxury of driving a company vehicle for work, so my RS is purely a toy for after hours/weekend fun. (I bought it last June and still have only 2,800 miles on it.) So the ride is rarely an issue. If I needed a daily driver, I would probably lean toward the ST, which is definitely more compliant.

What you’re suggesting, I think, is better described as ‘giving equal time’ and not ‘avoiding promoting pseudo science.’ The scientific method does not, at least as I understand it, ever require equal time. It requires evidence.

I was perfectly content with my ST. Oh, sure, I longed for an RS, but mostly in the “wouldn’t it be nice” way. Then a dealership that I drive by daily got one in and I took it for a test drive.

Traded the ST in for the RS promptly. “Amazeballs” is an understatement.

Your phrase “shitty station in Duluth” could not possibly have set up that clip better than it did. One of my all-time favorite news bloopers.

As a Vikings fan, let me tell you how much it sucks to go to the Superbowl four times and lose them all. . .

People seem to forget that the kid was responsible for those two really long back-to-back interference calls in the first half. And yeah, the second one was a dodgy call, but that does not change the fact that both calls had to be on his mind and the coaches minds. I guarantee you that they coached him to be careful

That needs to get synced up with Paul Allen’s broadcast:

“Blockbuster movie”?

I have been ordering veggie burgers with bacon for decades. I just like the taste of a good mushroom/grain burger. (As opposed to soy protein, which is an abomination.) I used to get weird looks from servers all the time, but I think that they are more hip to that kind of thing nowadays. Food has gotten more esoteric

My favorite way to eat rice when I was a child was with soy sauce stirred in to taste, and then a pat of butter melted on top. As an adult, I have to admit that tamago no gohan beats all, but I still like having plain rice with butter & soy sauce occasionally, more as a treat than a staple.

I was watching a movie earlier and flipped over to see that they were up the 21-3. I flipped back later to see the Titans on top. My first thought? The line from Amadeus: “One hears such sounds and all one can think is, ‘Salieri’.” Only in this case, one sees such incompetence and all one can think is, “Reid.”

I will freely admit that a friend gave me the idea for that, but I Photoshopped it!

Yes, it was a strange comparison. They are both clearly different classes of vehicle.

One of the only reasons why STs and RSs work so well for me as a personal vehicle is that I put less than 5,000 miles on one in a year. (I had 10,000 miles on my 2014 ST when I traded it in for the RS last June, and I only have 2,500

The whole movies is disturbing. Worth watching, though. It is from the same director who made the Hatchet movies.

I suggest you read a book.

Hey, I adore Aston Martin as much as any car nut, and I wish them all the continued success in the world, but if you really find it reassuring that a small luxury car company had a record sales year while most of the car companies that serve “the rest of us” slumped. . . Sorry, but I am having a hard time seeing the
