I drive a Fusion for work, and own a Focus RS (and had an ST for two years prior to that.) The differences in interior space, especially in the rear, are not subtle. The Focuses (Focii?) are fun, but the Fusion is a helluva lot easier to live in as a daily driver.

It helps if you grew up in a family of Scandinavian descent. Riced potatoes was about all we ever got when we were growing up, and I ended up with ricers from both sets of grandparents when they passed.

The cool thing is that up until the Velvet Underground-esque rave up at the end, she plays the whole thing pretty much straight. (A little bit of a naughty emphasis on the word “come,” but other than that, she keeps it perfectly sincere.) That is what makes it better than all the ironic rock Christmas songs out there.
