Unless they miraculously improve low light performance then I don't really see the point. Making B&W pictures literally take 3 seconds to do. Even if they can make this improvement, it would still be a HUGELY limiting camera.

I think the retina display is going to happen, if not in the iPad 3 then iPad 4 or whatever. (I don't mean this as a general statement along the lines of "technology will eventually improve, blah blah" but rather the retina display will hit the iPad SOON.)
