Sorry, you explained how awesome Texas Instruments is but didn't explain how they're related to MIT...am I missing something here?

@tomsomething: OMG, no freaking way. How do you guys live?

@fughedaboudit: I agree with the point about medicine but please explain the spirit of software development. I actually see software development as a way to make money rather than an altruistic act.

@Sublethalend: I'd totally do this too! It's like getting a free (temporarily ugly) house! Besides, given how ugly some houses look already, this might actually be an upgrade in terms of looks.

I've definitely noticed mileage differences with different branded gas: Esso vs. Petro-Canada vs. Shell (I haven't tried no-name gas). In my experience Esso gives me the highest mileage. If Apple ever allows widgets, my guess is that they might still keep the rounded of square button. Also applies to the iTunes logo keeping

Nice rant. I enjoyed reading it. About the home button with a rounded square, I'm pretty sure that's meant to be the overall shape of the app icons.

@IncrediBurch: I'm pretty sure it's both. What GAME is doing is the classic buy-out-your-competitor-so-you-can-have-monopoly, there's no way that could get through antitrust regulations. It's also terribly sad.
