Graphics do not make a game. Some of the all time great games have graphics similar to celeste. Graphics may age but good gameplay is timeless, I’d take one Mario 3 over a hundred call of duty single player campaigns

It’s a bit of a black sheep as far as I’m concerned, as I say it feel so much shorter than the others, although I believe it’s the only one to have a new game+. The lack of whip is unforgivable but some of the swords are great and it has decent level design.
