Living in London makes it hard for me to watch my Heat and Canes live but I’m kinda glad I didn’t last night because I doubt my heart could have taken two buzzer beaters in one night!

“Deep in the underbelly of Brazil’s soccer pyramid” is kind of a misnomer.

I did a triple Axel marathon.

IMO he also played it safe by running on 2nd down of their final possession. With the clock stopping for the two minute warning no matter what I feel like he should have call his safest pass play to try and get a first down.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s always about the same. No one is there because they wanted to see a concert, so it’s not going to be packed with fans of that specific musician. I’ve also heard it’s a notoriously lousy crowd for the actual game too, since lots of people who go aren’t particular fans of either team. A

How does the crowd reaction compare to other Super Bowl performances? I think this is the first time I’ve seen from the crowds perspective.

I mean, do we really expect people who pay 3k a seat to be JT fans? I’m sure it’s like this most Super Bowls

At some point, doesn’t the fact that these players voluntarily play this game and are rewarded with contracts where in one year they can make more than they would in a lifetime outside the NFL get weighed in. If they choose to play knowing the risks, is it anyone’s place to tell them they can’t.

Vote for me U.S. Soccer. I’m your only Hope.

Mariners reel in prized Marlin

People want to act like the NFL in the early 21st Century was any different. Definitely was fucking not - was actually worse in terms of blindside and helmet to helmet hits, people just have hamster brain memory and only worry about busting their next nut on their smart phone and getting hella likes.

Well plaid, sir.

Hey....I can’t stand Trump. He makes me sick. That being said....the guy is not articulate. I honestly, as much as I can’t stand him, don’t in any way think he meant it in the way that everyone is jumping up and down about. I think he was saying that although the soldier knew the risks, it doesn’t make it any easier.

I’m so glad someone had the presence of mind to take a picture of Billy when the final whistle blew last night.

Billy actually wrote this years ago, and has been waiting to publish it with fevered anticipation.

Congratulations on missing all of the points. I really don’t think Ma and Pa MAGAhumper give two shits about soccer, this was an opportunity for Liberal America or Urban America or Sane America, take your pick, to feel a little national pride.

This is shit. Just a complete shit take. Happy the US didn’t win it, because you hate the administration in office. Complete dog shit.

I will enjoy chewing on this big, fat L for the next four years, the way I do with all the sports teams I root for. You start to really develop a taste for the L, you know? Relish the bitterness and frustration.
