You could transfer the image to your Vita with a USB cable to your computer? That's how I have all of my custom backgrounds on my Vita.

I'd imagine you could upload the videos to Facebook, and then use the Firefox addon "Video DownloadHelper" to download it and upload to YouTube. It's more work, but only until they add an official option to upload straight to YouTube.
