Hiroshima is definitely a city I want to visit again. I haven’t been in...*counts years*, fuck, 20 years.

Badass. Thanks...I’ve never seen that before.
I’d want a Gerwalk Valkryie to be honest. As for the Eva, I’m sure scale etc wouldn’t be a problem for good ol’ Japanese ingenuity!
Per the latter half of your comment, it’s funny you mention that. If I were being honest, I prefer the original RX-7. It looks real to me, while the scaled-up overly detailed Unicorn is…
I dunno, I kind of dig the angular elements. I see a bit of Gantz in there, in a good way.
Hoo giddy happy days. Yokohama’s now on the itinerary for my 2021 trip. Here’s to hoping every city picks an anime mech and builds a corresponding life-sized version of it. Still waiting for my Eva, a VF-1 Valkyrie, and heck, I’d want to see a Mazinger too.
So it sounds like this train has the potential to bring about the end of humanity, combining all human souls into one massive gestalt in order to attain the next level of evolution? I just wanted to get to Gifu...
Well I won’t say it’s a bad reason per se, but hopefully it’s to also enjoy Taiwan’s sites, culture, and people.
Hmm, that might be true. I realized that I was actually referring to the Lumina APV (the minivan). Forgot there was a normal Lumina. The APV was terrible, and watching my dad drive that failure-prone lemon around was hilarious/heart-breaking. That APV led him straight to Japanese cars, now and forever.
What the...why is this a new thing?!? When something makes so much sense, you wonder why it wasn’t already a thing.
It’s definitely a complicated history. My grandfather studied in Japan and spoke fluent Japanese. He’d karaoke old enka songs. My parents used to have prejudices against Japanese. Living in the US, this manifested primarily as refusing to buy Japanese cars. They eventually relented after experiencing the pain that is…
Thanks for that knowledge!
Definitely a confusing choice of insult. Gets fucked in the ass by Capitalism, calls the owner Communist. What?
I assumed that too. Because to be honest, with so much stupidity already going on, I kinda just ignored that one.
Oh man, I remember lusting after the Alliance Grand Marshal weapons.
Maybe so, but everyone’s also free to tell others how dumb it is to wait that long to shop in a store.
There’s alot of dumb coming out of your brain right now. Best to get that checked on.
Gotta agree with this sentiment. A decade or so ago, this raid wouldn’t have even happened. Hell, the government themselves would’ve been doing the counterfeiting.
Good...it's sad to see a few tourists ruin it for everyone. Thankfully I didn’t see much bad behaviour this past trip a few weeks ago. I think the worst I saw was two tourists hastily run after a maiko to get one last pic, but that's about it.
I was in Tokyo when this took place. Just another reason my friend will beat me over the head with in regards to hitting Tokyo then Kyoto instead of vice versa as we did. Though we did get to see Arashiyama during the typhoon.
If you’re critiquing journalism thru the lens of business hypocrisy, you’re really looking at it from an incredibly dumb perspective.
