Wow, one of them actually gave away the gameplan! I’ve been saying for 20+ years, all they want is more people, in more desperate situations, who are willing to do more work for less compensation.

Deficits only matter when Democratic Presidents desperately try to reign them in, not when Republican Presidents balloon them without need or cause.

apparently there was a vanity fair article yesterday that said “Trump is apoplectic...” in the headline. Sounds like donny learned a new word

I think you know how offensive that is to uncooked lean pork meatballs.

Trump absolutely does not know the word “apoplectic”....

I’m betting ‘apple-septic’

My Twitter account was taken down for 11 minutes by a rogue employee. I guess the word must finally be getting out-and having an impact.

It is just a TAD convenient, is it not?

it is exceedingly rare, IMO, that “taken out of context” is actually true and valid as an explanation. *Sometimes* seeing the full context allows the comment to no longer be objectionable. This is not one of those times.

Sooo Donna Karan, tell me, in what context IS it appropriate to slut shame and blame victims of sexual harassment? Did they record you while you were auditioning for a role as a sexist rape-apologist in a movie?

No shit, and I know I’m never buying DK again,

Yeah, it seemed like at the time, as she notes, she “didn’t know the extent of the stories” is code for “no one famous had confirmed the stories so I felt free to spout off and discredit lesser known actresses and behind-the-scenes staff” which is so so so ridiculous and exactly the cause of why women don’t speak up.

No shit, and I know I’m never buying DK again, and likely they won’t be either. And I’m not for chastising people for everything they say, but in this case I think she deserves whatever backlash she gets from this. She was preeeeeeeeetty clear on her stance at the time of the interview.

Yeah, that’s right up there with “I misspoke.”

At least she didn’t blame Hillary Clinton.

I understand being tired and jet lagged, but this is not new to her. She’s not a brand new designer who has never done an interview before...she’s perfectly capable of saying, “You know what, I just got off a plane and haven’t really heard the whole story. When I have a moment to gather more information then I’ll make

“I’m sorry...that I didn’t think about how my comments would affect my sales.”

“My statements were taken out of context...”

Her newest film is getting mixed reviews, but to cheer for her, I’m posting a good one. I’m bummed it’s not showing in my city, because I would love to vote with my dollars and go see The Sound. Look for it in your city! It was released just last month.

I’ve heard Rose speak about the production paradigm before, to an audience of mostly film academics mind you, and she knows the studio game inside and out, historically and contemporarily. And is brave enough to take sledge hammer to it. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her successfully usher in an era of purging these
