I am a pro wrestling fan. As such, I know that whether a wrestler is booed or cheered (and for what reason) does not matter; the reaction itself is important. That logic provides the answer for dealing with situations like these.

I have made no value judgment as to the man’s worth as a doctor. I do not and cannot know whether he is a “good” doctor based only on cursory, third-hand knowledge about him and his decade-old legal woes.
