Plus how many actual sports journalists did ESPN fire in order to give McAfee his eight-figure contract? It was a bloodbath, and confirmed that ESPN was chasing the televised equivalent of clickbait rather than professional sports reporting.  First Take and Get Up weren’t enough??

It’s not in the headline, it’s in the subhed. It isn’t a mistake, it’s intentional. It doesn’t matter if it’s the “right” shape. It’s a shape. It isn’t car-shaped or truck-shaped, it’s shape-shaped.

Very strange thing to be mad about.

I say we put him on the first launch to Mars.

Nah, not until you calculate all the extra launches needed for fuel and food. The numbers are so ridiculous throughout this fantasy of Musk that it is not even funny.

Actually, it’s way more than that. First, they can at best carry 100 people. So already, we are talking 10,000 ships. Then, when you realise that the ships needs at least 16 refueling (fuel alone, no food) ships for each ship going to mars, we are talking 160,000 launches.

Have you seen Tesla’s range estimates and real world figures? I would be leary of any “emissions” numbers they give out.

Why do we need to make that distinction? There’s a safety problem that requires a change to the vehicle. Whether that fix is an OTA update, an in-person trip to the dealership, or worse a do-not-drive order followed by weeks of waiting for parts changes nothing about a manufacturer having put something unsafe on the

It looks dumber each time I see it.

Here’s the thing. I know you are saying that to emphasize the ease at which the recall can be fixed, but here’s the thing: I think the severity of the root of the recall is so much more extreme than most (not all) of the recalls in the past.

While it is obviously very different having to bring in millions of vehicles for a physical recall versus push out a software update (from a cost and timing standpoint), it is still an important distinction that Tesla was forced by NHTSA and the Chinese governing body to issue this update because the systems were

I think we need to start making a distinction between recalls where you have to bring a car in to be serviced and “recalls” that are merely OTA software updates.

were you born this fucking dumb or have you been working at it?

goddamn you are soft as that wiper blade.

Teslas are objectively not worth the money.

Musk stans are extraordinarily preemptive in their outrage for anything less than utter fealty to their man-child antisemite leader.

I hope the first question they ask is, “Just what IS the deal with your face? You always look like you’re trying to conceal the fact that you just shit your pants a little.”

Boohoo. Go Xit to Musk. He may give you a blue mark.
