Just look at Perez.  I’m not shitting on his talent, he’s a good driver, but clearly his car got him 2nd in the championship.  No one in their right mind would say Perez is a better driver than Norris, Leclerc, Hamilton, Alonso... and yet, he secured 2nd without having a good driving season compared to his ones in the

Lest we also forget Clarkson just blatantly using a slur in a TG episode:

I pointed this out in another thread yesterday, but there’s no way these Cybertruck deliveries are anything more than ceremonial, to satisfy Elon’s self-imposed deadline.

If it was the fastest F1 car of all time that would prove the point entirely that it is the car.

Wow.  This is the most ignorant comment I’ve read here all year.

That’s fine, because F1 isn’t NASCAR. F1 is a constructors’ championship as much as it is a drivers’ championship, and that’s because the teams each build their own car from the ground up. The engineers matter as much as the driver.

What has ElMo done in the last few years to suggest that his maturity is anything more than a 15 year old?

Saying “fuck you” to the people paying the bills is the kind of thing you expect from a 15 year old, not a 52 year old.

Reading about it doesn’t do it justice so I encourage everyone to watch some video clips and take note of how Musk is constantly looking out into the audience after every comment, desperately seeking any kind of approval. It’s quite sad and pathetic. He never started from a good baseline anyway, but you can see how

I think they already flipped on that

100%, these aren’t real “deliveries” to regular buyers. This is just to meet their Elon set “end of Nov. delivery”. Total BS PR move to make Elmo feel good.

Can you guarantee that by soaking the box in water, that you wouldn’t set off a potential detonator”

Who wants to bet that these alleged “deliveries” are still just prototypes they’re handing over to people with Tesla connections to use as long-term testers?

Re: I Miss Splinter

True, but it seems that in this case there was no reason (other than impatience) to not dispose of the material in multiple detonations.

That’s wild, and so fucking dumb. I mean is there a danger transporting them to another area, sure, but shit just soak them all in water and they are almost 100% safe to transport anywhere for proper disposal. Also how did they miss calculate the weight? I know it’s not a 1:1 ratio but if it were me i would ASSUME is

I bet the LAPD didn’t pay out a single penny in compensation and got any lawsuits dismissed by claiming qualified immunity.

Yes, they’re in a bit of lull, but you’d be crazy to ignore their massive, massive sucesses.

BvS was that attempt and he mashed it with The Death of Superman storyline for whatever reason, which bungled the entire DC movieverse.
