Don’t care, everyone’s got a story most people actually deal with them. Tucker Carlson is today and forever will be a piece of shit human being. Fuck him. No sympathy.
Nope, nope, nope. I’m reliably told by every narcissist I ever met that other people are always the problem.
Anyone who works a regular job in the public sector would refuse something like this because the standard is you can’t even have the “appearance of a conflict of interest.” A student got me a chocolate-covered fruit basket once and I had to give it away because of how it might look.
Eh, I dunno - are you qualified? Can you not act?
“And nobody, practically nobody, is defending us[.]”
Christ. Maybe you shouldn’t be taking ANY of these luxury trips unless you pay for it out of your own pocket. That way no one can accuse you of things like this.. If “practically no one is defending” you it’s because there’s no defense against this kind of corruption.
Hey Scalito: the fact that you complained about the free accommodations and food does not make them “modest” or “homestyle,” it just makes you a corrupt and ungrateful shit.
Do I think a “just” value of that is the yearly GDP of the entire country of Romania? Nope.
If it’s anything like USA’s civil forfeiture, if he’s been earning money off of these illegal actions, they would treat all of the profits as the fruit of that criminal enterprise and subject to summary seizure by the Government.
they restored his character to life because they recognized it was a bullshit death.
“Death by server lag” was never part of the pitch.
Hardcore mode wasn’t designed to randomly kill you on a loading screen.
Per the customer support chart, they “don’t have any tool available to them that would allow them to restore characters, regardless of the player’s responsibility (or lack thereof) in that death”.
I would argue it is fundamentally different, since hardcore was designed for D2, a game which could be played fully offline or via LAN. “Death by server lag” was never part of the pitch.
Hardcore mode is hardcore mode for a reason. One of those reasons, in a game like Diablo 4 that is heavily rng based, is that your character WILL die and its just a question of when and how.
Blizzard shouldn’t do anything. Restoring characters defeats the purpose of hardcore. They created a character knowing the death would be permanent. They don’t get to beg for resurrection when they die.
Those titles don’t affect gameplay at all, though. They’re not benefits in any way.
Yeah, it defeats the entire purpose of hardcore mode if you start restoring hardcore characters. We know there are issues causing situations like this, if people choose to play HC anyway they have to accept that as part of the risk. One of the reasons I wish this had single player mode.
The problem is if they do that just for a streamer, that’s preferential treatment. If they open it up for everyone, their team is going to be inundated with bazillions of HC death footage to sift through. Probably better to work on the issues and keep moving forward instead of looking back.
