I had left work early to go get my taxes done. The route I took into the town I live in isn’t one that I normally would take, but it was the most direct route to my accountant’s office. On the south end of town is a 4-lane highway. I was in the outside westbound lane. There are 4 intersections where city streets

Okay, Torch, since you put this idea-worm into my head, I’m going to give you one that has plagued me for a long time:
Imagine the original Star Wars, now known as “Episode IV: A New Hope”. Now imagine if the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi was played by Christopher Walken instead of Sir Alec Guinness.

I’m from Iowa, but my wife and I are fairly well traveled. I think it’s the composition of the chocolate in different parts of the world. Milk chocolate is fairly common, but the flavors can vary due to the milk used. If I remember correctly, in the states a majority of our dairy cattle are corn fed. However, in my

Seriously, SO looking forward to this!

One of my favorite funny car memories involved a 1993 2-door hatchback Metro. I’m the youngest of 5 kids. My middle brother owned the Metro. It was a good little car, even though we gave him crap for the fact the 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder engine in it sounded like a moped when he revved it. That particular joke comes into

I’m reserving judgment for when I actually see Mary Poppins Returns, but from the trailer, and from watching Christopher Robbin, it seems like Disney’s recent live-action releases are leaning towards recapturing some spark of childhood, and steering away from adult cynicism. The execution might leave a little to be

I can’t unsee that now.  That’s dead on

You can see the driver getting rag-dolled around the cabin the whole time.

I always figured Picard’s reactions in First Contact were consistent with someone who has had a deep-seated trauma, long thought dealt with, suddenly come back up to the forefront. The way I see it, Picard remembers his time as Locutus, who stated the Borg’s intention to assimilate all of the Federation.  The site and

For some reason, I look at those Chevy Silverado front ends, and all I see is the face of a Cylon.

Has anyone ever read the “Chronicles of the Shadow War” trilogy that acted as a sequel to “Willow”? It’s...interesting...and very much a product of its time.

Aug. 2 is the most deadly day of the year in terms of traffic crashes in the U.S.”

Came here for a John Wick reference, was not disappointed.

Wild parsnip is similar, with yellow flowers instead, here in Iowa. Same type of issues, though, with the sap. My wife actually has some permanent scars on her feet from this stuff.

You know, slap some oversized 80's glasses on Gal Godot, and she really does look like Lynda Carter in those pics

I think a lot of the issue is when people read about driver assistance technology like Autopilot, most are misunderstanding what it’s actually capable of. People seem to expect a less-chatty KITT from Knight Rider, when what we actually have right now are very fancy cruise control systems.

I still say that thing looks like a Zando-zan from “The Last Starfighter”

I really, really want to watch a video of James May putting this together

Forget cosplaying as Doctor Strange, I want to do this to make Coulson’s energy shield from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I just have to say, I love the fact that a comic exists where the main character is a dog, and it’s written by someone with the surname of “Kibblesmith”
