I love also that the final battle took place around the hulk of what had to have been a SHIELD Helicarrier. While the movie was inserted squarely into the Fox X-Men universe, that fight scene also implied that it could easily have been the movie-verse of the Avengers and Winter Soldier as well.

Thank you for the strike through on the spoiler. I haven’t seen the movie (and chose to read the spoiler at my own risk) but that really did help stop my eye from reading it automatically. I’ll be using that technique in the future.

I think it did so well because there’s no doubt that Deadpool shot first.

There was a family with a 10 year old kid in the theater when I went on Saturday. They got up and left after the gratuitous sex bit. Somebody didn’t tell them what they were getting into.
