The punchline is: Lincoln Chafee is at least as credible as any of these people.

Bulldog, I’m more on the left side of most things, but I really don’t give a wet crap about pointing a finger at Bush or anyone else at this point. It happened and now we’re in it. I should also say that if in your opinion the Vietnam War was the worst thing to happen, I’ll respect your opinion and won’t try to change…
I did not realize you were a conspiracy theorist when I replied to you. Throw in a couple “damn Zionists” or “Hasbara” or “Western Aggression” next time and you can complete the lazy hypothesis.
“No WMD was found because there was none.”
I think that was “piece of granite.”
Indeed.
Isn’t it hilarious how propagandists and conspiracy nuts assert that people who don’t believe, or even know of, their cockamamie points of view/theories— are “absolute morons?”
That’s a nice “plausible deniability” stance, but I’m not so sure it’s seated in reality.
Well said. I feel bad for people that live in Russia. Every leader they’ve had for the past 100 years (besides maybe Gorbachev) has been a complete asshole who has fucked their citizens up the ass.
The problem that Politicians seem to be making unilaterally with Russia is that they treat Russia like a country filled with Americans.
This is pretty much true of all his write-ups on the debates so far. This title gets more readers.
I believe that Washington is doing its best to keep those missiles out of Syria. But the Sunni states haven’t always listened to Washington. It’s possible that they don’t care to upset Russia, especially if they see it as a source of future arms if they think the U.S. will restrict arms sales to them in the future…
That would be more impressive if it wasn’t for the fact that the North Vietnamese were instrumental in setting up the Khmer Rouge victory in the first place. Vietnam only turned on Pol Pot when they realized he wasn’t willing to be a Vietnamese client and had ambitions to overtake them in regional dominance.
That is true, and Vietnam’s effects were arguably not as widespread, but by the numbers we lost many more dollars and many more lives in Vietnam- and embarrassed ourselves much more than in Iraq, I would argue.
If you want to debate, tell me why I’m wrong. Don’t just call me a moron right off the bat; you aren’t going to get anywhere that way.
They have to play to the America people though! I bet less than 5% of our population can tell you anything about the Mexican war.
Disagree. Not due to Russia ultimately being harmed more than they gain, but due to the machismo of Putin and Russia in general. Regret implies that they would have done something differently. I don’t think that’s the case as they’re too macho and want so badly to be the Soviet Union again.
Dude, those were like forever ago! </s>
