I guess I consider Dallas to Austin to San Antonio the dividing line between the South and the Southwest. Amarillo is Southwest.

Ah yes that is true. Most of my black tie events are in the winter. And I'm from the South so any outdoor weddings in late spring/summer are rarely black tie.
Have you ever ventured south of the 40 degree latitude line?
I will gladly wear jacket/jeans. But I live in the South, where a sport coat is the only kind of jacket people find acceptable at a decently upscale bar or restaurant.
Call me crazy, but I find a tux to be pretty comfortable. Cummerbund hides your waistline, and braces means you can let out that waistline.
Most SEC students I know would point and laugh at someone who seriously wore a short suit.
That was my thought as well. His buddy was just laughing. Meanwhile I'm yelling "EXCUSE ME MA'AM!" and trying to figure what the hell I'm gonna do when I get to their table. I'd assume it was not the first or even the third time it had happened to him.
I was working as a manager at a wing place one summer. Two middle age guys came in and sat down at a table near the front door. They ordered and had already been served when an angry woman barges in. She started hitting one of the guys with her purse and yelling about how terrible of a person he is. I assume he was…
The YB-60 was interesting, but Boeing beat them hands down with the YB-52.
I remember seeing the Memphis Belle on Mud Island in the early 2000's. It didn't seem to be in too much a need for restoration, and it was in a semi-enclosed structure. Are they trying to get it airworthy?

And you still use gay as an insult, on a public forum.
Many of the bombers deployed to North Africa were painted a very pinkish tan. Depending on the light it can look more pink or more tan. They probably changed the lighting above the display to make it appear more tan.
I bet this happened after Gemini 7, when Lovell spent 14 days in orbit. It was also the first orbital rendezvous.
A relative of mine who owns a construction company recently switched to buying gas powered Dodge 2500 work trucks. His trucks tow occasionally but are almost always hauling a bed full of equipment around, and he has saddle tanks on all of them. The gas trucks get almost the same mileage as the diesels, and the price…
Next time you should read the article before going on your rant. Tyler has repeatedly advocated for scrapping the program altogether.
It's not even tile based. It looks as if the heat shield is one giant molded piece, including along the engine nacelles. Supposedly it can withstand several reentries without completely ablating.
Let's just hope they aren't planning on just using "Apollo bags". Even the Soyuz has a damn toilet.
