70 MPH = 102.66 FPS (Feet per Second). Most Airsoft/BB guns are at 300-500 FPS = 204-341 MPH. Most paintball markers are at 300 FPS as well. So not concerned about little pieces of foam at 70 MPH. Very cool toy and I am sure my kids will love shooting each other with them.
