Yeah, I often find myself constantly changing gears cruising on the highway, too.

I think you’re taking this too literally. What Ford meant by saying they want to “act like a startup” is that they want to be innovative as if their future depends on it. They don’t want to be just some large corporation that just makes cars for the sake of profit, which they have done in the past. Ford doesn’t

The same reason you need more gears in other cars. Better fuel economy and better acceleration?

Do you think that’s a realistic scenario for the average car buyer? The average car buyer has probably never heard of Alfa Romeo. The average car buyer has already decided that they want a Toyota or a Honda or a Ford or a VW. The average car buyer wants their car to perform basic tasks: get from A to B, have good fuel

The difference being is that when people mispronounce “Porsche,” it’s a problem of ignorance. People think they are pronouncing it correctly, but aren’t. That’s completely different than looking a name for 30 seconds and trying to figure out how it’s pronounced in the first place.

And here it is with Michigan plates:

You do know that the Ford GT wasn’t in the race, right?

Are we now conveniently switching topics to races that Americans don’t even participate in, now?

But, but don’t forget about that one Australian designer out of 30 that did something somewhere. That means it Australian!

Is that because the category “sports car” that you are comparing it to is comprised of a bunch of cars at least 2-3 times the price? There has been a single month in the past 5 years when the Miata sold over 1000 units, meaning it’s being outsold 2:1 by the Porsche 911, 10:1 by the Corvette, and 2:1 by the FR-S. That

It’s 37 being made for the 2015 model year, not total.

51! seems pretty unlikely.

Sooo, they asked him to step back onto the sidewalk? What an awful restriction of the First Amendment. I’m horrified.

You have a serious knack for putting words into my mouth and then insulting me for those words I never said. That’s pretty impressive. I can just sit here and get insulted for saying nothing. Nice job.

I don’t recall saying that, no.

No, I’m not going to ‘jump into the comments to troll’ that she should have spoken English. But she shouldn’t have signed a legal contract she couldn’t read. Not saying the dealer isn’t an asshole, but signing your name to a contract you can’t read is idiotic and shouldn’t be overlooked here.

You’re doing it wrong. It’s actually 2.5 V6 Mustangs.

Do you live in China?

To be honest, I don’t care what country’s low-skill skill workers put the pieces together. Where the engineering and development is is more important to me.

Unlike what seems to be the general consensus around here, I think the exterior looks pretty good. Some small inconsistencies but overall it’s good. Interior is traditional GM, though. I still don’t think it’s completely up to par with some of the competition but anything is better than last gen.
