Yea that is true! Thankfully she didn’t have it long, I only drove it on the highway once or twice. It was a terrible car, cheapest econobox I was ever in, it was also insanely loud for what it was (and seemed to be in fine mechanical condition).

When I met my girlfriend she had a Yaris that also had center mounted gauges, it was the worst. Driving distraction built into the car.
