An unpopular opinion for this site that I have is that if you are spending your own money, I hope you buy something you enjoy without feeling the need to justify it to anyone at all. Want to buy an M as a status symbol? I hope it brings you the status you are looking for. Want a lifted 4x4 because you live where it

Nissan likes making crazy shit and not updating it for a decade. Sounds like the evo is back!

I daily drive a kawasaki ninja because 99% of my driving is to work and back and everything I need fits in a backpack. I also have a truck because I like it and use it to do mild off roading every couple weeks or so. I also agree with you Stef people who need a thing should probably just admit they want that thing

I think something that a lot of people claiming don’t worry about the feels always avalanche are forgetting is that often times if you are living paycheck to paycheck which isn’t terribly shocking if you are very far in debt is that often times paying a low balance debt off frees up monthly cash flow. Because also

I think I agree. I really enjoyed the article but the Vulcan kind of surprised me. I’ve ridden one and it certainly wasn’t bad but you could feel the weight. I started on (and still ride) a 98 Honda Magna 750. And not quite a pure cruiser I’ve enjoyed it thoroughly. It’s not super light but it holds its weight really

So, I was raised in Illinois (where we don’t like to do fun crazy stuff we prefer electing people then putting them in jail). and went to college in Florida. Someone asked me to describe Daytona beach and I told them imagine rural Illinois had beaches and they understood. But it appears various parts of the state

i have a 2015 gmc sierra slt with column shift and a bench seat. I know that’s the mid-range sierra but it’s got most of the nice things the denali has.

The last time I got stuck in snow was my mustang doing about 5mph turning onto an on ramp with -40 windchill or something... I felt the car start to slide and was like welp looks like I’ll be going offroad. Two guys stopped to push my car off the snow (it was cold enough that the car didn’t really sink in the snow but

Thank you. 100x this... I understand some people like wagons but I’m tired of reading about how no one “needs” a CUV. No one “needs” a hellcat or corvette or Ferrari either. We should all go buy geo metros at most... or maybe a riding lawn mower or something. If someone wants to buy a CUV let them own a damn CUV. I

He could still be right, could you imagine how many times he would have slid off the road WITH traction control? Oh man...

Audi R8 V10. Went to Vegas to do the exotic racing experience. Actually wanted to drive an MP4-12c but it apparently wanted a day off and broke the day before I was supposed to drive it so they gave me the option to drive two cars instead. Always loved the looks of the R8 and so I picked it and a GTR.

I can’t argue that, them being so disposable to the dealer makes that true. Maybe yours was in the process of sinking! :D

Oh also, I didn’t even know pinstriping charges were a thing. I’ve never seen that before. My current car is used and has pinstripes... I wonder if the original buyer got bullied into them. It’s the only car I’ve ever had that had pinstripes on it.

That makes sense. And I wasn’t attacking you, it’s just interesting how many people have had either incredibly awful experiences with every dealer they’ve worked with... or how many stories of “I told them to shove it” internet heroes we have.

One time I purchased a car, and the dealer asked if I wanted some add on. I said “No” and they replied audaciously with “Ok, please sign here saying that we offered this add on and you declined it.”
