this game comes up ALL THE TIME in ‘games to play with your non-gamer significant other’ lists, and i can’t disagree harder.

I don’t ever want to play this game again.
The Kotaku coverage of this topic baffles me. You guys continue to downplay and make excuses for poor behavior on the part of game developers.
Kotaku has failed to notice the problems with Epic and their store so completely at this point that it can only be deliberate.
I’m not sure whether Epic’s paying you guys off, or if you guys just have a chip on your shoulders against PC gamers because of Gamersgate or whatever, but what on earth is going on with your Epic Games articles? You turned a story about a dev approaching a sensitive subject the right way into a condemnation for PC…
I’m getting older and I’m busy a lot and there is a lot of games out there. If you don’t make it easy for me to buy your game, I won’t bother. If you try to sell me a 60$ game for 100$ by having crap dlc? You’re out. Gameplay focused around lootboxes and microtransaction? out. I’m not boycoting stuff that comes out…
By the way Josh, you should consider writing an article regarding the Epic store and the game Darq. I know I know lol that would go against the narrative and this isn’t going to get a response whatsoever. We have to make sure Epic and its developers are the victims, even when they are evil as fuck on this shit show.…
Fixed.
The statue means someone likes cats.
Ancient Egyptians were aliens.
I said everything I needed or wanted to say about the entitlement that informs EGS rage (and no, I’m not an EGS fan—but come the fuck on) in the previous story on Ooblets.
The only thing I feel a need to add at this point is: if a person’s argument in defense of issuing death threats/sexist epithets/mocked-up photos…
I dont want to pay money and give my information to an unproven unserviced 3rd party. Beyond that I dont want to support epic and pay money to epic. I should be free to choose where I want to buy something same way your free to choose where you shop for groceries it's a grossly simple concept.
Before you ask “why?”, one must need to ask “why not?”
“don’t ever do drugs in Japan!”
True, but it was interesting to see a Legalize Marijuana parade in Shibuya.
Their chant was “MARIJUANA NO PROBLEM!”
Which is true.
One of the issues for new players (in my experience, and experience of my friends) is the interview process to get into anything more than a random fly by night corp is *grueling*.
Starting for the first time in EVE is like one of those prison island movies. The new arrival is either found by the “altruistic” gang who takes them in and shows them the ropes (the 10% that stay), or they are eaten alive by the murder gang. Most probably give up because they fall victim to “creative use of gameplay…
I quit playing before I ever bought the game!
You want to bring the glory back? Bring back Hiroki Kikuta as series composer when you work on that next game.
The Secret of Mana remake last year did absolutely NOTHING for me, but I am INTENSELY excited for this. I played that fan translation of Seiken Densetsu III back in the day and it remains one of my favorite SNES games of all time. I loved the mix and match your party element, and I loved playing co-op with my friend…
