I stopped after clearing half the map. I had around 55 temples done and was inside the third beast when I just got bored.

My buddy and I still play Wildlands regularly because of this.

I had zero expectations for the first Wildlands... and it’s probably the most fun I’ve had in a co-op shooter since the original Halo campaigns. I can’t remember the last time I actually peed myself laughing while playing a video game... this happened multiple times with Wildlands. Some of the best Open-World

I want to give you the Pedant Award for this comment but I’m sure you’d find something wrong with it.

Using cocaine is a crime in Japan, not just possession, and “probable cause” doesn’t apply here.

Cities are defined by roads, so I’m not sure this qualifies as a city-building game, since I don’t see any evidence at all of roads or even footpaths.

The real issue for these big companies is that they just don’t want dedicated players spending 200+ hours on something, even a product they sell. They want them spending money every couple of hours or too bored to continue playing so they’ll go buy something else (preferably something from an in-game ad).

Opting out of reviews and not having forums is a huge fuck you to consumers. I know they can be toxic but they are also how numerous developers have been pressured to actually fix their games. Taking away consumer voices is not good thing,  just because someone somewhere at some point maybe had their feelings hurt.

Won’t put a dent. You know why? Look at EA’s Origin and Ubisofts UPlay. They’ve had a tonne of time to pull people. And they don’t really. There’s two reasons.

Blade Runner didn’t have “sky lanes”, so that top image doesn’t scream Blade Runner to me, it screams...
