True, it was a bit of a this or that question, and nothing is ever that black and white. I was more trying to get at what you wish to see in the world. Are you looking for a matriarchy or an even split?

So, would you say that patriarchal structures, and/or the power structures of our culture put in place by a history of male leadership, are by definition (inherently, I mean) bad/oppressive/constricting?

You gotta foresee that going down badly with the feminist crowd, Alex. I agree it makes sense, but I'd see the FDA putting stronger restrictions on impurities in the makeup being more reasonable. Anything else could (would) get thrown back as an attempt to control women's sexuality.
