Dying Light was banned in Germany in 2015, due to the country’s extremely draconian approach to bloody content in games. This has long been an issue there.

That’s just the normal relic grind and if we would compare it to Eureka, a bit more of a quality over quantity discussion would come up but Eureka had 4 zones, one of them was HORRIBLE pre-nerf while Bozja/Zadnor are two zones, but some steps were also absolutely awful because if I remember correctly most of them were

Which Ivalice stuff do you mean? The 24-man raids?

Yeah, no. Hard pass.

I know, but if a new patch just gave you one cutscene that lasts 2 minutes you can’t just go “Welp, you should play something else then and come back later”.

That’s over exaggerated of course but it would be nice to get more things to do. Also the lack of side content besides the relics steps and the Ishgard

Yeah, if you are super hardcore and have chewed all the flavor out of that particular piece of gum, it’s not going to hold you as much. But you do have to keep in mind you’re far from the majority. The game is so feature and content rich at this point that for the majority of players, there’s always more stuff to do.

I’ll accept the Garo event in that list, even though it was an PVP “event” (like you said, it ran for 2 1/2 years) but except the Yokai Watch and the FFXIII event you didn’t really need to farm something in any of those you listed. You maybe had to do a fate 3 times or so, yes, but that could be easily done in 30

Of course it’s a hit in Japan. People can finally see what is happening on the screen when they play on the go now!

Just kidding a bit of course but the screen of the old model isn’t great when you play outside.

Sure, for newer players the game has tons of content but if you’re keeping up with it, it tends to run thin pretty fast and it doesn’t change anything about the other SE games I play anyway. It also doesn’t change the fact that I sometimes want to play FFXIV, but I don’t because there is basically nothing to do

Yes, but that philosophy has severe problems.

If you actually want to play more FFXIV and have been playing for a few years, you basically can’t because besides farming Gil or getting best in slot gear for every job, most of the content runs thin pretty fast in relation to the time span until the next big patch. A

Then just switch to metric but still write imperial values on products etc (basically most stuff you use everyday) and just remove those imperial values more and more after X years.

Because the vast majority is part of the same country that sticks to a long outdated system.

Same, I tried multiple gacha games and all of them bored me to pieces after a day or two. Genshin lost me completely at the moment I had to search for chests etc to level up my adventurer level or something to progress in the game, which is about 4-5 hours in, I think.

That’s a bad trade if I’ve ever seen one.

Sega, the ones who *where* funding it but then decided “Nah” lol

Because most people don’t seem to realize that Sora could have a very varied moveset that is not just Cloud... or Marth... or Ike.... or Shulk.... maybe a bit like Link.

Why doesn’t it surprise me that this article is made by the same person that made the “Please, Free Me From The Bad Takes About China’s Gaming Restrictions” article which was also just the same take everyone has, but with baffling extra steps?

Because I love this argument, which someone brings up everytime, I want to step in:

No, I don’t hate religious people. I can never understand them, but that’s not the same as hate. Everyone that’s very religious should absolutely call out horrible behaviour in their churches and should absolutely know that they support

Meanwhile I’m sitting here like “YES! PLEASE GIVE ME A GOOD (and affordable) N64 CONTROLLER I CAN USE ON PC!!! PLEASEEEEE!!!!”
