I would continue this discussion btw, if I this website would let me. The comment system is so broken I can see part of your comment in my notifications but I can not see your or my last comment.
That’s why I said their production value is good. From a technical point of view, the games always had a really good presentation with good motion capture etc. I don’t even have much to say against the gameplay since Quantic Dream games are basically adventure games (in a similar vain as Point & Clicks and visual…
The production value of Quantic Dream is great (even though I’ll keep saying that they could’ve produced every game since Heavy Rain as a FMV game and most likely it would’ve been easier and less expensive to produce) but the writing is garbage. The only thing they can do well are those many different plotlines where…
Seems like you didn’t really read my comment.
No, weapons that feel distinct are not annoying, I would even say that BotW does it well, but making players switch to a different weapon because if not you are at a huge disadvantage (even if it would just be damage) against certain enemies is annoying.
If you want players to use different weapons why not give them advantages and disadvantages in different scenarios and against different enemies?
It not only disrupts game flow when I’m pulling off a flashy combo, but also often leaves me open for a beating.
.
You are comparing the NSMB series to the entire evolution of the franchise. SMB1 and 3 look different, but the latter also came out multiple years after the first one, when devs were creating way better looking and playing games. The real SMB2 is also basically SMB1 with new levels, the other one is not even a Mario…
I mean, those moments are great and all but just because those game don’t have that doesn’t make it bad.
Also the series introduced some cool power ups like the Mega Mushroom, the Blue Shell, the Mini-Mushroom and the propeller mushroom.
Something that has not directly to do with the topic but
I mostly couldn’t care less about almost all of the announcements. It’s mostly just more of the same.
You know what would be cool? If Japan Studio did a new gam-... oh, wait....
Hot take maybe, but I think the writing for both Borderlands 1 and 2 is bad. I almost couldn’t care less about the story and most of the characters, the thing that kept me entertained in terms of writing were the jokes that were downright dumb sometimes but they still made me laugh.
The feature was only implemented because raiding was a popular thing to do in the first place.
I don’t know where the hate against NSMB comes from. Besides maybe NSMB2 all games of that series are totally fine, and I always liked playing those.
Oh, Rising Storm Vietnam and Chivalry 2 also belong to them.
Seems like I’ll add those two to my blacklist as well.
Wow, I liked Killing Floor.
Guess, I won’t support that dev studio anymore.
Fuck you, John Gibson.
I know that original hardware and CRTs have limited life span and this is great, which is why I said that it’s interesting, but right now I can’t see it having much success with a price 3 times as high as a Pi4.
When FPGA solutions get more affordable than this, I bet that it will work great and find a huge userbase.
Hard disagree.
...and as always, I ask the question “who is this made for?”.
