What, no Mission Impossible mustache option? Blasphemy.

Not to be confused with Ranald MacDonald, the 19th century weirdo who taught English to the Japanese, enabling the Japanese to speak with Commodore Perry.
That photo on the left is a little “lounge” area that one of the bathrooms had, but I’m not really sure just how much lounging anyone would really want to do in there, sitting on that upholstered block and peering critically into that smudged mirror. I should mention that the mysterious “lounge” was only for women, or…
As usual, Blizzard hides some of its lore behind other media, in this case the novel Before the Storm. In it, a group of Forsaken reveal they’ve been considering reconciling with their living relatives. They tell Sylvanas and she reluctantly agrees to let them meet. Unbeknownst to her, the event was organized by Calia…
Here’s a Reddit thread that places the origins of the contemporary term “faggot” in Yiddish, and not English, rebuking the “bundle of sticks” origin: https://www.reddit.com/r/etymology/comments/8pcpi9/possible_origin_of_the_american_pejorative_fag/
Evan, I love you.

How about this rationalization: After the Norman Conquest (1066 CE), the English language adopts a number of French loan-words, including non–magique. When English wizards begin immigrating to America about 500 years later, they’re still using something similar to non–magique. Historically, this is where American and…
Miller’s had interesting takes on the president for years. My personal favorite was the George W. Bush-esque one in Dark Knight Strikes Again. He makes the typical stupid W. comments, but accidentally reveals himself to be a C.G. mouthpiece to cover Lex Luthor’s control over America. Even after the public finds out…
Exactly my thought. Lucky travel charms in Japan are normally little frogs because of the homonym — they help you return safely.
Studies without raw player data are always going to be flawed and won’t ever get closer to a truth about compulsive gaming.
Snoke was cut in half, sure, but considering that the Clone Wars and Rebels shows are canonical, being cut in half means nothing. Darth Maul went on to do lots more after losing his lower half
Yeah, SW cloaking is more about hiding the ship from sensors, not making the ships invisible. If you know something is cloaked, you can just scan the area for density anomalies and find them pretty early.
Star Wars films are always very precise when it comes to the tech they use.
Blizzard is a very goals-oriented company, and their decisions are focused on long-term results. If they want to pursue WoW Classic, it’s likely part of a bigger plan. Years ago, players could pay an additional subscription to play on an Arena Event Realm. (After a few years, this extra fee was waived and the Arena…
This sounds weird, but I say “bless you” to any loud bodily function. Not only that, I don’t necessarily say it loud enough for them to hear, so I don’t expect a thank you. When it’s a fart, I may not say “bless you,” but I think it. It’s not religiously motivated, and at this point I think me doing it is a Pavlovian…
Haven’t gotten into Rebels yet for whatever reason, but now that it’s coming to an end, no time like the present to start!
Thank you. Morrison’s New X-Men changed my life. The sheer speed at which Marvel reconned his best changes were astonishing.
It also depends on the type of shield. In ESB, the Rebel base on Hoth has a ray shield that protects it from orbital attack with energy weapons. That’s why the Empire sends AT-ATs to destroy the shield generator instead of just blasting the whole base with Star Destroyers.
The promo pages at the end of the comic show Batman with the journal so... nah, couldn’t be him, right?
