Like you say, the position isn’t “its ok to run people over.” the position is “its ok to move forward with due care.” now, maybe that phrase needs to be defined more carefully, but it sounds a lot different than “plowing into a group of protesters” like this article is attempting to portray it.

Nor should there be an instance where someone’s life could be potentially threatened by a select group of individuals deciding they have the right to close down a public road.
