I mean, they do sometimes lie, and this seems like its one of the cases where the accuser is indeed lying. I don’t know why you feel the need to make a sweeping generalization instead of just taking it by a case by case basis.
no, she released photos of what she claimed were evidence of abuse, and which could not be confirmed and were actually contradicted by her own text messages and behavior.
there being no one around means there is no one to kill...
the kochs are billionaires. the point is they aren’t driving bentleys. even the middle class are buying tahoes.
The obvious end game here is that they keep throwing around a lot of hypotheticals about use for the land until they scare the homeowners into buying the street back from them for “a reasonable” return
We are debating degrees of safeness. My position is that if we are any safer than we were pre-9/11, it is immaterial.
I agree that the process isn’t that bad (besides the body scanners, which are probably starting tumors on my organs as we speak). My point is that the process doesn’t really provide any additional security. All it does is make the masses feel safe. Apparently its working on you
9/11 was done with box cutters. think about that. do you honestly think you couldn’t get a box cutter on a plane now if you really really wanted to? the only difference between then and now is that the attitudes of the public on the planes have changed now, and they would fight back against hijackers similar to the…

We blindly trust them. I think my point is, the skies aren’t really any safer now than they were before 9/11. We could go back to just metal detectors, allow people to carry a bottle of water through, and scrap the whole body scan thing, and really wouldn’t be any worse off.
what are you basing this off of?
Performing in security theater is not a tough job. Actually providing security would be tough, don’t get me wrong, but they don’t come close to doing that
if it’s a bell curve (and it probably is pretty close), there’s a lot of below average intelligence people out there. I think most of them are teachers and politicians at this point, though, so don’t worry— they don’t have important jobs
They definitely intersect, but whatever you say.
you’re a bad person
good question— people have been asking the same thing about Chelsea Clinton for decads
soooo this went over your head, eh?
Well, I mean, he did act like a douche afterwards
“The next inning, after giving up another two hits, Zimmerman went yard again for career home run 273, which matches Frank Howard for the most home runs in Washington baseball history.”
