The N180 or N210 Toyota 4Runner
Trucks or retiree “Splurge after retirement”” cars. Makes a lot of sense. Although I’d love to see where the ‘99-’02 Corolla lines up on here because those things will be the only survivors of the apocalypse next to roaches and Newt Gingrich.
I’m with you on the fact that alot of policies are meant to meant to tax the less fortunate. I do not agree that bureaucratic agencies, with their wealth of information and tax dollars just seem to “forget” that their policy affects minorities more often. Just an example, from us here in the DC area, where the…
But...you do realize that a lot these things do tend to be racist, not just classist, whether they mean to be or not. It’s ok call things out, as they are. You aren’t being harmed by a racist policy being identified as racist....right?
Obligatory any time this song is played.
Just Woonnndeerrffullll, as this is probably going to give law enforcement an excuse to pull over any Uber/Lyft with “suspicious activity” inside of them (i.e. lots of coloreds, doing colored things together, coloredly). I’m going to have make sure all my Uber drivers are guys named Brody, or Scott, or Chad.
This makes me want a 370z more now. Not that I want a 1,000+ hp one or anything but no matter what people say, these things do it for me.
Tom, call me crazy, and I know I may not be thinking of this the right way, but pricing makes a lot car debates of this nature weird, in that the value proposition presented doesn’t seem great because we dont know whats included in the “extra” value.
Must be nice to also have many fine, leather bound books, and your durable full wool furniture that doesn’t have to withstand kids, adults and other things Soccer moms with too much money might carry in a Range Rover. I’m only disagreeing with wool being a good choice here. Thanks for making an issue out of it.
That’s my point. Thank you.
So, you mean to tell me, that Volvo is making crazy IKEAbucks be staying true to it’s customer base, making competitive offerings for even the segments ABOVE their current cars, and investing in the future? You could push me over with feather, I tell ya. /s
Btw, the V60 is going to demolish any takers in the growing…
You have full wool furniture? Come on, man.
This makes more sense. I get wool blends and certain types of textiles make for a better use here than “Wool”. Yes, fine wool is a wonderful material too but people with wool clothes get those bad boys dry cleaned for a reason.
I do. Hence my concern. I get my suits dry cleaned often enough and they are taken care of.
That is such a bad idea. Have you ever smelled wool after it’s been used for a while? Wool ABSORBS odor and traps it. I can see these hitting the market after leases and the interior having to be changed from the 3 years of ass sweat and farts that are locked into the seat unless it’s taken apart and dry cleaned.
“Arrested” is probably my favorite song of his. This one is GREAT too!
Not for anything, but this redesign is probably going to turn the QX80 into hot seller. The QX80 was already a steal, it just had that humpback whale front end. This is WAY better.
I honestly thought it would look worse but that’s actually not bad. However, it doesn’t look good on the MDX. The last beak did. Acura, yall really are going to stumble your way through this design generation huh? THANK GOD they added an exhaust outlet. I’m still miffed that they wanted their “sports sedan” to look…
It looks WAY better than the VW and Subaru, and shouldn’t be NEAR as expensive (Unless optioned to the teeth) as a 3-series. It’s between this and the Volvo V60 for that niche slot for uppity-granola types who can’t be seen at the Whole Foods with the same Outback as everyone else. If the V60 gets that Volvo XC90…
I’ve heard that is the case with some of the interior bits but...at 22k and low miles, it’s no longer “in that segment”. To me, at that price, it metaphorically falls into the Malibu/Accord/Altima/Camry segment and in there it’s gotta be competitive. The ATS offers ALOT for that kind of money, seeing as it was in the…
