Modular Cars

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution - Spent the last 9 years with barely any updates. Died in 2015.

I’ve been saying that the SS should have been renamed the “Bel-Air”, and have a base V6 trim. The Bel-Air SS should have been what they had now and started off at $39,995. The fact that you can hop across the street to a Dodge dealership and get a Charger Scat Pack for 6k less than the SS, is NOT a good selling point.

You are right. point taken.

It’s not really “exotic” but you aren’t wrong. You can find immaculate examples in the low 30s. I mean, if it’s between a gently used Z06 and a new 320i, I’m growing a mullet and finding some appropriate american flag decals to put on the back of my new Vette.

That’s the thing. Abarths are a STEAL used. Like 15k with 10k miles on them. I would buy this over a Fiesta ST with a 4 grand discount.

That is the ONLY thing I miss about Florida (well, that and Publix subs....uunnngggghhh). If it moves, it can be registered.

I get SUPER aggressive with those people. Flashing high beams, honking, whatever it takes. I generally trust semi drivers because they know what they are carrying and don’t want to get themselves killed or fired, but the clown who just sits next to a semi on freeway is an asshat of epic proportions.

As a Miata driver (of the same color as this NC), this is my nightmare.

The girlfriend constantly wonders why I will go out of my way to “fight for space” on the highway and avoid large vehicles of all kinds, and I constantly point to this very same reason. I live in the DC area, so people are idiots and do NOT look

The 1997 Expedition/95 Explorer- The Minivan/Station Wagon death toll.

God, I wish manufacturers would go back to making interiors as simple and elegant, as that one is, especially in sports cars/coupes. It feels like I have to buy a 100,000 car to get a nice, simple, driver focused interior, with good materials. I believe the new MX-5 is the closest we can get to it for under 50k.

So, I ask this all time but I wonder why Acura doesn’t just make a new CL off the Accord coupe.

With the amount of coupes they sell, you could spruce this up, add SH-AWD, plus the 3.7L V6/6-speed combo (8-speed DCT option), and they would have a righteous Audi A5 Competitor.

And before I get flamed by the Audi Legion,

I am 27 years old, and was raised by a single mother. Back in my day, when I was “Should I leave Baby Crome in the car, while i run inside to withdraw some cash?” age, my mom had a 88’ Hyundai Excel or, as I called it, the most Oxymoronical car of all time. It did not Excel in ANYTHING,

God, I’m with you. I HATE door mirrors on cars, and every more if they leave that STUPID black triangle! UGH!

Seriously, I was just thinking about this car the other day. From every review I read, it seems Volvo fixed the biggest glaring selling points (new paddle shifters, retuned automatic, updated gauges and infotainment, etc) Although the buttons don’t do anything for me, everything else about

Here’s the thing: I remember them basically giving these away a few years back and just as recently as last year, you could pick one up in low 20s with like 15-25k miles on it. Anything over 40k miles where in the high teens!...

No so much anymore. The prices have gone back up. Not back up in the 40k range they were at

This is a few days late, but I love that Infinitis look like nothing on the road and drive “sporty”, and I especially love the M37/Q70. It just has presence, I don’t know what it is.

“ And the car you describe of making an AP2 in a 2+2 sounds amazing, but there’s no way it would be $24k.”

That is what the BRZ and FRS is, minus 50 horses and it was 27k! Guys, the car was 85% there, and they decided to just..stop, like giving oral to your S/O and then saying “No, you’re good” right before they get to
