Agreed. The Cayman to get is the GT4 but, I’m not making that kind of money. I am, however, making “used Cayman S” money. If I rolled up in that, everyone would be plenty impressed.BTW, my 10 year is in September, so this is all relevant to me. lol

I agree. This or the Cayman works for similar reasons. If you are doing “well” you COULD afford the payments on it, but people from my hometown would think you were making BANK.

The easiest thing that auto-manufacturers and analyst will get wrong is the need to be “connected” while in the car. 4GLTE and WiFi in your car is going to be the “stock underbody neon” of the 2010s. The people who buy it will use if for 30 seconds and then never again.

I agree. I’ve been saying that only the most recent (W221) interiors by Mercedes have looked modern and continue to. Everything prior to that has NOT held up (visually), however BMW and Audi have essentially kept the same aesthetic with modern touches and look much better over the years. Look at the E65 7 Series. The

The Prius is the slow, economic Grandpappi of “Classless”. Leo DiCaprio drove one, your mom’s church friends have one, they are littered all over your HOV lanes, they are everywhere and driven by both the super rich and the plain peons.

I think the easiest way to make a “Classless” car is to make a “statement” car. It

Edited: I meant to say WOULDN'T sell as much

Here is the thing: a 500x with the 1.4T, AWD and a manual at about $22k would have been the Euro hatch bargain of the segment. The CooperS Countryman with a stick and AWD is 28 grand to start! However, I just checked, you literally cannot buy an AWD model 500x unless it has the 2.4L and an automatic.

I know they would

It’s more like these are the kind of people who send death threats to people they don’t know over something as stupid as a RUMOR that they would replace somebody. Liberal or Coservative or Klingon, it’s beyond stupid to do shit like that. If she is a bad host, then let the merit speak for itself not this “SHE IS

Because they need to lose the Verano and bring the Astra OPC to the States. It would give the GTI a run for it’s money.

WHATS WITH ALL THESE CRAZY LEFT WING NUTS WHO ARE TRYING TO CHANGE MY GOOD WHOLESOME TV WITH MORE COLOREDS AND WOMEN FOLK?!?! JUST LET US HAVE THIS ONE! YOU ALREADY GOT YOUR B.E.T.S. AND OXYGEN NETWORK, LEAVE TOP GEAR OUT OF THIS!!

It could be JUST my opinion, but when YOU sit in the new Impala, what strikes you as "upscale" about it and I bet we will probably say the same things.

Dear Sweet Baby Jesus, you are so right. I still don't get how GM hasn't figured out the "nuanced" delivery of their products. The Green Dash Lume, the ATS/CTS Gauge cluster (god I hate it!), the way all the interior bits are "chunky" looking, much in the same way a Power Wheels truck has BIG gauges and BIG buttons.

Most of the ones I was going to pick are taken, but I have a good feeling about this.

So yea, you can’t add a bunch of power without sacrificing reliability. That’s normal. The MZR motor in my Miata is dead reliable, but doesn’t like huge power gains. As long as I don’t trying and turbocharge my car to the sky, it’ll run and produce as it should for a very long time. I consider that bulletproof.

That’s a Ward’s 10 Best Motor (in some variation) for almost 2 decades. Besides the NVH, which I don’t know is an “unreliable” attribute, whats wrong with it? I believe they had oil drinking issues on the first set of VQ35s but I haven’t heard anything in the neighborhood of say, the N54.
