Oh no, I wasn’t arguing or anything (I know it comes off like that because tone on the internet is hard), I was just trying to explain that at 51k with every boxed check, yes the Z is “overpriced”, seeing as you can get a C7 Stingray for a couple grand more and have more of EVERYTHING, and the Cayman is about 10k more

Exactly, I never understood the hate on this car. Yes, it could be better, but for 30k with most everything you WANT in the car? Come on now. I think it’s because everyone wants this to be a Cayman but not cost 70k. :-/

The last review was of a top spec convertible. Yes, if you check EVERY SINGLE BOX, it can get to 50k, but in “enthusiast” spec, it’s like what, 35k tops brand spanking new. That’s in the neighborhood of the similarly equipped Ecoboost Mustang/V6 Camaro, etc and is STILL a better buy than the BRZ. Again, I still don’t

Personally, I love these cars, and always wonder why they are constantly shit on.

Yes, I know it’s a bit chunky and could use something like a DCT, turbo, or even a lower entry version. However, these still look good (i.e. interesting), the VQ motor is basically bulletproof, and its a great car.

The Cayman is twice as

That was my first reaction. The new one might not last as long as the old ones because of the new interior tech but it’s still pretty basic. If we find out that the Skyactive motors last a long time, then I don’t see how a Miata doesn’t just keep running.

All this for some dumb DVD players and radios.

Downsizing.

That is the future.

I DO believe that we will have autonomous vehicles and LOTS of ride sharing, but not until we HAVE to, do I believe people will just “give up” on driving. Especially not in the near future. I think we are moving towards people “down sizing” or decreasing their footprint. We are a

God, that dash gives me the willies. Just..buttons..everywhere..and what do they do? Like,...8 vents....and a ABYSS of plastic and cheap faux leather. GGAAAHHHHH!

Thank you. That is the issue I am running into with a lot of this data.

I live in the DC metro area and make about 55k a year. There is nothing, I would say Luxurious, about my lifestyle. I drive a 10 year old car that is just about paid off, trying to pay off student loans, have a roommate, and live in a tiny 2 bd/1ba

A High School Nerd in the 90s figured out a good way to do it.

I think the new ATS is great but that cluster is a deal breaker. I think of them in the same way as watches. At their core, watches/time pieces ALL do the same thing and SHOULD be able to do the same thing: clearly and accurately tell you the time. However, you don’t buy “time pieces” because they can JUST tell you

Mr. Hester,

I think Kinja may be messing up again so I’ll ask just in case it didn’t go through.

Mr. Hester,

The New Nissan Murano.

In every photo it looks ungainly, bizarre, and just a bit “Too much”.

I saw one in flesh, in this same copper color, and thought it actually looked distinctive and like nothing else on the road (in a good way). This is going to sell because it actually looks good AND DOESN’T look like anything

Please. PLEEEASSEEEEEEEEE let that be the stock/base gauge cluster.

Ok, go with me on this, but I think I know how Cadillac can change it's image and I'm going to try to be as progressive as possible as I write this.

For Cadillac to regain a foothold, it needs to take a long look at the Escalade and reconstruct their success with that as a blueprint. Basically, I think Cadillac needs

Why don't automakers just use names and alphanumeric too? I always thought cars sounded cooler when their name is mentioned with a type designation or a chassis code.

THUG LIIIIFFFEEEEEEE!!

As opposed to the RS5? lol
