The age of the “boyfriend” is left out for obvious reasons, because I can’t imagine a third-grader having a same-age boyfriend beyond giggling and holding hands on the playground or maybe playing Doctor.
It continues to amuse/irritate me to no end that these people - white, conservative, religious - are the real face of welfare fraud. Not saying that other people don’t cheat the system but the FLDS have turned welfare fraud into an art form. Yet somehow when some people use the term ‘welfare queen’ you just know the…
We all know outsider’s perspective are more valuable then insider’s.
Plus, they so rarely experience sexual harassment so it’s an “outsiders perspective.”
Men are better equipped to talk about this issue then women. They can stay objective and unemotional about it.
Why would we need to hear from her when we have all these men around to tell people how she should/would handle sexual harassment?
You’re the kind of poly person who makes all the other poly people look bad. Like the atheist who can’t help but sneer condescendingly at people of faith.

Alas, if the death penalty is to ever be overturned in a court decision, it’s always going to be for the sake of an asshole.
Or better yet, let’s not do it. Let us no longer tinker with the machinery of death and instead live in a country that does not intentionally kill its own citizens.
It's hard to rise above our barest instincts especially in a case like this but that's what separates us ( as a society) from people like Roof or Manson who use murder as a means to an end.
I am against the death penalty, but there are times I am not sorry to see it happen. This would be one of those times. I still remember how furious I was when Timothy McVeigh’s execution was delayed. I’ll never forget that feeling. That is the feeling I am having right now- I’m against the death penalty, but this…
Exactly. This sentiment is precisely the belief / guiding principle of defense attorneys - the notion that even the most repugnant among us have basic rights that should be defended.
That's when we know that the Constitution works. When we acknowledge the constitutional rights of a little shit like this.
