He is right about experience and fame

12 years?  Hollywood has OFTEN done much, much worse. 

I am completely fine with him being edited out of cameos that stroked his raging ego.  I’m sorry, but is Home Alone 2 really an important piece of our artistic historical record?  Is the movie somehow marred by his removal?  I give this trend a thumbs up.

But this isn’t erasure of history. It’s cutting out a cameo in a fictional Christmas movie. Nothing whatsoever of value would be lost.
