As a PhD myself, never, EVER have only one copy of your thesis. All the more in an age where everyone and their mother offers you free cloud storage.

“After the police interrogated me and realized that this is a situation that has happened to me before, they released me with no charges…Even after acquiring a new phone, I still cannot log into some of my accounts because the London police still [holds] the phone that my two-factor authentication goes to.”

That’s one reason why I don’t pick it up. I want progress, but every time I see someone play Elden Ring, I hear Dr. Strange in the back of my mind “Dormammu, I’ve come to bargain!” Since I don’t have a time stone, I don’t have the time for that...

I just think it’s a lost opportunity for Stray to not explore some of the background of its setting.

The problem is that the supposed “lack of care” are imaginary. The lack of care is in the argumentation, because they are paper thin at best and disingenuous at worst.

“It’s one thing if it’s robots passing messages to each other but some overlap each other instead of being written around each other. Which calls into question if said developers also understand graffiti culture and the etiquette.

But photosynthesizing makes no sense.  Neither does her skin look like it is particularly light-absorbent nor is there a point for her to make carbohydrates.

Personally, I liked her look in the intro section much more. The other one is simply cringeworthy, and the whole “explanation” makes no sense whatsoever. But then, when would Kojima ever have made sense....

No, not all “medical procedures” qualify as “health care”. If they did, all elective surgery would be covered by insurance.

This is... not a good argument. You’re essentially saying “the answer is obvious, because... REASONS... and if anyone thinks otherwise you won’t even entertain their arguments”. This is called dogma.

Says the mindless tool who happily smears people as if they were responsible for the US healthcare mess.

It’s an employer and as such, thanks to the great *cough* US healthcare system tightly connected to the health plan employees enjoy.

There’s no need for specifics to find someone who might conclude he’s doing her or everyone a favor by following through, picking a target of his own choosing.

I mean, what fucked up Cyberpunk 2077 is CDPR leadership setting dates when they had no clue what the fuck was going on with the status of the game, or worse were being told about it but refused to budge. As well as greedily insisting the game get out in a specific window to release on the prior console generation,

It’s the classic European / Colonial divide, comparable in many ways to the difference between Americans and the British. A common language doesn’t guarantee a common culture - particularly when there’s an ocean in the way.

Wait until they’re hopelessly outnumbered at the ballot box in 2040

That is how it works, though. Of course Heard is relying on the truth as a defense, but Depp is the initiator of legal action, and in general, the plaintiff is usually the one with the burden of proof except in rare circumstances.

A Republican considers “pay-to-win” being a Gamer? Color me surprised....

Heard’s counterpoint required proof, true. But my understanding is the person who brings the action - Depp - generally has the burden of proof.

The “double speak” is the consequence of your cherrypicking the statements while ignoring the qualification to PHYSICAL abuse for the second statement.
