I just think the facepalm makes your (very valid, actually) observation seem overly caustic and dismissive. You wouldn’t see people posting facepalms after 9/11, right? The scales are different, but the feeling is the same. I get what you’re saying, but I think it came out kinda wrong.

I’m not sure when Bethesda is going to fix that, but, last time I checked, if you use, say, an alarm clock for its nuclear material, you don’t get the aluminum and glass, they just disappear. Dropping and scrapping gets you more stuff.

This is my fourth attempt at this, but every time I stop making sense when I try to say how holyfuckingamazingholyshithisisrealyouguys... goddamnit

Man, seeing someone not trying to pick a fight is so rare, so kudos friend! On topic: the PC can do more stuff, but costs a lot more, with a lot of extra hassle attached (although Steam really helps there).

Relax, we all have these days :)

I said the mechanics are AWESOME. Totally agree with you there. I don’t like the game’s rhythm, that’s all.

Wait, they had videogames in the early 20th century? 21st, right mate?

Says you. That’s only a fact if you assume that this is a risk-free move for Google. Aside from infrastructure costs, this shatters goodwill, weakens their YouTube brand and may even boost a potential competitor.

You do realize I’m not trying to pick a fight over this, right? In any case, Redguard (I looked up the name) is still canon, as far as I know, and ESO/Skyrim being newer doesn’t exclude them from the series, right? Even disregarding Redguard, they’re still 1/3 of the series.

True. But ESO is, like, a thousand years before, Skyrim is 200 years later, and there’s that action one somewhere in between. Also, the lore literally goes back millennia.

Geez, get a room, already!

I understand why people say F3 is better, but if he played the old Fallout games I’m not so sure which he would prefer. I think FNV better captures the feel of the first Fallout games, of a sort of post-apocalyptic western with lasers. The Capital Wasteland is cool, but it kinda feels a little off - a little too

Kinda. In Fallout 2 you play as a descendant of 1’s protagonist, and a bunch of the organizations in New Vegas appeared first in 1/2. So, kinda like The Elder Scrolls, as you said, but with a smaller distance between titles, so there are stronger ties between the games. But yeah, the plots are independent from one

Xander already said a lot of what I was going to say, but some extra thoughts. It’s a shounen, so there are action scenes, crazy powers and all that. But it’s very unique in quite a lot of ways.

Geez, I’m all “what are all those anime? The first one is Full Metal Panic, but the rest?” Then someone mentions Trigun, Cowboy Bebop and Go Nagai’s works and I suddenly feel like Captain America.

Wow, someone admitting to being wrong ON THE INTERNET. Guys like you are like unicorns! Kudos, friend!

I’ll start by saying that I definitely agree with you that not all characters need an arc. However, I’ll argue that this scene is very important for Luke’s arc, although I won’t even try to defend the dialogue writing in it.

Yeah, back when New 52 was announced, I thought it was a pretty bold move, if they could just stick with it... they didn’t stick with it.

I don’t think he really meant downsampled... WiiU games run at a native 1920x1080 resolution. It’s just that the image was downsized to fit a website, or something. Although it was probably smoothed around the jagged edges, I still think Nintendo is among the least dishonest ones out there, though.
