I think we’re going to get a ton of echo fighters that normally wouldn’t need to be included in the roster. The final number should make these 7 seem like nothing.

Oh man I loved every second of the Dr. Franxx flashback episode. It felt like more of an epilogue OVA though. Once all of that was out of the way, you didn’t have any more mystery drawing you back in and it was definitely hard to care anymore.

The pacing fit with the rest of the series (in that it was kind of all over the place) but it did feel like the director wasn’t sure how to balance the world with its characters. I was pretty impressed that most of the series worked. It’s too bad it didn’t stick the landing.

I’m honestly a little tired of the “witch time” dodge. When playing Bayonetta 2's challenges, I went with the character that didn’t have witch time (basically female Dante). In Nier, I never bothered with the chip that gave you the slowdown dodge. When a dodge is too good, it makes combat less satisfying for me.

I had like 4 VMU’s, but I did replace the battery in my first one once. It died so quickly that I just decided it wasn’t worth it.
